Irondequoit: Thursday May 29, 2014. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Donald. Survived by her children, Kathleen (Jim) Koon, Donna Arganbright (Richard Black), Bruce (Kathy) Arganbright, Kevin (Barb) Arganbright, Lisa Arganbright-Benge, Susan (Steve) DeJohn; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Edith was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts. She loved music, she played the piano, served in the bell choir, and sang in the choir at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Edith was a dedicated volunteer in her church and community including birthright of Rochester.
Friends are welcome to call SUNDAY 4-6pm at the JOHN M. HEDGES FUNERAL HOME 1717 Portland Ave. (corner of Portland and E. Ridge Rd.) Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated MONDAY 10am at ST. KATERI at ST. THOMAS the APOSTLE CHURCH. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials in Edith's name can be made to St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave. Rochester, NY 14621.
