Brighton: Died after a prolong illness on September 25, 2012. Sr. Ginny ministered as an art teacher, a campus minister at both MCC and Ithaca College and Pastoral Minister before becoming Director of St. Michael's Woodshop. She was an avid painter and won many awards for her work from the Irondequoit Art Club. She is survived by her brother, Edward Taylor; nieces and nephew, Marilee (Mark) Wall, Starr (Mark) Carlson, Teresa (David) Johnson, Stephen (Suzanne) Schuttinga, Lisa Morrison, Yvonne Taylor, Daphene Taylor, and her sisters in community.
Friends are welcome to call Friday, September 28, 2012 from 3-7pm at the Mercy Center (1437 Blossom Rd.) where a vigil service will be held at 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10am at the Mercy Center. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sisters of Mercy.
