Gene passed on peacefully Monday February 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan Staub Aldridge, children Mark (Theresa), Gail, Gary (Julie), Eric (Lisa), ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by his mother Ilura Crary Lawrence, stepfather Salvatore Lawrence, brother Joseph (Topper) Aldridge. Friends are welcome Thursday February 11 from 4-8pm at the John M. Hedges Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. Charles' Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday February 12, 11am at St. Kateri Parish @Christ the King Church. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
