Eileen Richley  Volk
Pittsford: Passed peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 89 and is now with the Risen Lord and her loving husband Bill. Predeceased by her husband William Volk. "Auntie Ei" is survived by her dearest friend and advocate David Lipari and his wife, Sue and their children, Danielle and Jason. She will be missed by sister, Evelyn Smout of Clearwater, Fl; her neighbors at The Highlands and the Lipari family who were privileged to call her "family". She worked at Kodak Color Print Processing for 39 years and was also a model for Kodak. She was a member of the Ridge Culver Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary since 1953.
Eileen and her husband Bill loved spending weekends on Seneca Lake and taking railroad excursions cross country. She was a world traveler, via cruise lines from Alaska to South America and all points due West.
Friends are welcome Tuesday 5-8pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home Inc. 1717 Portland Ave. Her Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday 10am at St. John's of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport. Interment will be held privately at Irondequoit Cemetery. Thank you to Home Instead Senior Care for their loving support and care. Donations in memory of Eileen can be made to the UR Medicine Visiting Nurse Service, 2155 Empire Blvd. Webster, NY 14580 or the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
