Obituary for Mary P. Young (Petersen)

Webster: Monday, September 5, 2016 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Young; sister, Helen Allen. Survived by sisters-in-law, Betty Welch, Arline Harrington of FL; nieces, Lynn (Robert) Waid, Diane (Larry) Wilson, Susan (Joseph) Spence, Lori (Robert) Rizzo, and Debbie Fite; nephew, David Welch; several grand nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Eastern Star, worked at the Town of Irondequoit for many years and was a 10 year resident of Maplewood Nursing Home where they took excellent care of Mary.

Friends are welcome Thursday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home Inc. 1717 Portland Ave. where a Funeral Service will be held Friday 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 800 East Ridge Rd. Rochester, NY 14617
