The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Kurtz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was sorry to learn of John's death. I vivedly recall speaking with him the few times I had that opportunity. His feistiness and humor were always evident and I'm sure helped him enjoy his long life. I and my husband Larry were related to your family through Larry's step-mother, Jane, who married Larry's father, John Oakley. John and MaryAnn celebrated one of Jane's birthdays here at my house in Webster and I have photos of the event, now so long ago.

I was not able to attend yesterday's service, but I wanted you to know John will be remembered and your family is in my thoughts.
