Alonzo J. Brun
Rochester: Passed peacefully on September 4, 2017 at the age of 91. He was born June 12, 1926 in Grandique, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Arthur & Lina (Legere) Brun. He is predeceased by his wife Evelyn (Pavia) Brun & 11 brothers & sisters. Survived by his children: Pam, David, Heidi (Fregoe) & Allen Brun, his beloved grandchildren: Brittney Brun, Ryan Fregoe & Elijah Jones; his immediate family in Canada: Francine (Wade), Clorice, Alice (LeBlanc) & Louis Brun, and many nieces and nephews. Al was a Lumberjack & veteran of the Canadian Army. He moved to Toronto and owned a Hair Salon. He met Evie while working at McCurdy’s in Rochester, NY. He had a kind heart, loved animals, taking pictures, playing harmonica, working outside, bowling and golf.

Friends are welcome Thursday 2-4, 6-8pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. A Service will be held at 7pm.
