Irondequoit: October 10, 2017 at the age of 67. Predeceased by his father, Ralph. Survived by his mother, Eleanor Porter; his wife, Irene; sons, David (Lauren Bowis) and Charles; sister, Susanna; brothers, Ethan (Andrea), Jay (Martha); brother-in-law, John Kilciauskas; uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighborhood family and friends. John will be remembered as a bird watcher, a star gazer, Yankees fan, Bruise Brother's hockey player, music enthusiast, good friend and advocate of peace. Very special hug and thanks to Irene's Highland Hospital friends for their care, love and support to John and his family.
