Rochester: October 12, 2017. Predeceased by his parents, Aloysius and Rose Berwind; mother-in-law, Helen Jones. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Berwind; son, Daniel (Kate) Berwind; grandson, Ethan; sisters, Linda (Sean) Berwind-Stolt, Joan (Jorge Alicea) Berwind Licata, and Kathy (Philip) Fico; in-laws, Jack and Sandi Jones; brother-in-law, Steve (Laurie) Jones; sister-in-law, Cheryl Luster; several nieces, nephews and cousins; devoted pets, Sophie and Gracie. Gary was an avid motorcyclist, loved boating and snowmobiling. He was always there to fix anything for anyone, being the true perfectionist that he was. Gary also loved gathering friends together whenever the time came.

Friends are welcome Tuesday 4-7pm at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home 1717 Portland Ave. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church. Memorials may be made to Rochester Animal Services 184 Verona St. Rochester, NY 14608.
