Peter Eksten

To Jack's family, shortly after going to work for The Gleason Work's in the mid 1960's I found myself working under Jack. He was my Group Leader in the Assembly Division. I really enjoyed knowing and working with/for Jack. I think he always enjoyed hearing about my wild antics as a young man (18/19/20 yrs. old) who was car crazy. I had a 1963 Corvette at the time. He often would ask me how many miles I would get from a set of rear tires. When I was still in school (Rush-Henrietta) I worked for a farmer in Henrietta named Jack Barker. He told me that he and Barker were friends so we would often talk about Jack B., his farm and family. I'm very happy to see that God gave Jack 93 years. Peter Eksten - Gleason Works retiree, 42 yrs., 1964 - 2006. West Irondequoit resident.
