Condolence From: Mike Adams
Condolence: He was a professor of mine for class at the old campus Clark Bldg. Then I worked as a coop student for the ME Department and then he was a friend as we worked to move everything in 1968 to the new campus. I will remember him most as a friend to me.
My condolences to his family on their loss.

Condolence: Chris helped me in many ways from the time I started working for the mechanical engineering department nearly 30 years ago, until he retired. Whenever he was on campus after he retired he would often stop in just to visit. He was a good friend and a fantastic carver of birds. My condolences and prayers go to his family. He will be missed.

Condolence: Professor Nilsen was one of my Freshman Engineering Professors in the drafting class. He had a profound effect on me due to his commitment to educating and mentoring young Engineers. He always took the time to stop by in the machine shop and talk about Engineering and life. He was a wonderful teacher and was one of my favorites while at RIT. He will be missed.

Condolence From: Bob McGrath
Condolence: Several years ago, when we were both professors at RIT, I would often pause at Chris's open classroom door to admire his work on the blackboard. It was an engineering drawing class, before the age of computerized drafting. He would use only chalk, a ruler, protractor, and a piece of string to create absolutely magnificent drawings. When I told him it was a shame these had to be erased at the end of class, he said, "You think mine are good?" You should have seen the ones made by MY professor at RIT." We saw yours, Chris, and they were plenty good.

Condolence: Chris will be missed for his sunny disposition and always having time to stop and chat with a neighbor, student, friend. He was a great professor at RIT with a long career. We were delighted to find that he was also our summer neighbor in his retirement on the lake and that his grandsons went to school with our kids. We will miss seeing him during our summers but know that he is on a celestial vacation watching over family and friends. Our condolences to his family and friends. Marion, Bryan, Jacob and Noah

Condolence: Chris was one of my favorite colleagues and customers at RIT. Students loved him and I know many of them are saddened to read of his passing. Rest in peace my friend and know that you had a very positive impact on the lives of many young people at RIT. Kass, I'm thinking of you in this time of sorrow.
