Obituary for Bernard A. Root

Irondequoit: March 20, 2017 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Annabel. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Doris; daughters, Karen (Joe) Boyack Brock, Diane (Paula Amico) Root; grandsons, Patrick Boyack and Andrew Root; brother, Louis (Karen) Root; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bernie was a WWII Army veteran, a 65 year member of Eunice Lodge #830 in Caledonia, New York, an Eastman Kodak retiree after 35 years of service, and a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Bernie's life will be held Saturday, April 8th at 11am at Transfiguration Lutheran Church 3760 Culver Rd. Private Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
