Condolence From: Dave Avery
Condolence: Truly sorry to hear about Art - he was such a great guy and a kind soul from way back when. I remember meeting Art back in junior high - he used to share the great sandwiches his mom used to pack for lunch... He was always a mentor, tolerating we lesser trumpet players in the band - he and his nickel-plated antique cornet were really something. Yes, Art, we will all miss you.

Condolence: I loved listening to Art's sweet trumpet tones when he soloed in practice or in concert with the Irondequoit Concert Band. I enjoyed our developing friendship and our discussions of light and serious subjects. He coped heroically and gracefully with his final misfortune. I admire him for that, too, and shall always remember him with great affection. Blessings to you, Christie. You are in our hearts and prayers.

Love, Larry
